Wireless Coverage Map Review

A radio frequency (RF) exposure study examines conditions for a proposed wireless telecommunications base station or for proposed modifications to a base station and includes a written report, suitable for filing with permitting agency.

Acoustic Noise Level Compliance

Study of noise generated by equipment at a wireless base station and comparison with local jurisdiction’s noise ordinance. Includes written report, suitable for filing with permitting agency. We also offer on-site, 24-hour noise monitoring using specialized acoustic meter, which may be required by some jurisdictions.

RF Exposure Compliance

Site visit to take RF measurements, usually for compliance with local permitting requirements. Includes written report, suitable for filing with permitting agency.

Interference and Interference Protection

Many telecommunication carriers find it convenient to co-locate with other carriers, or perhaps a wireless base station is located near public safety antennas. In such cases, an interference or IMD study can be useful. Our IMD study examines existing frequencies in use and proposed frequencies at a wireless telecommunications base station to assess interference from proposed operations to existing or other proposed operations. Includes written report, summarizing results.

Expert Testimony

Most of our H&E engineers have testified as expert witnesses in court, at hearings, or meetings on behalf of clients. We are credentialed by professional registration and by experience, and our expert qualifications are generally recognized and accepted on both sides. Increasingly as public concerns grow over RF exposure issues, we assist clients by explaining technical concepts to lay audiences.
